Your time as a postdoc is extremely important in shaping your career - but more importantly, you as a scientist.

The goal of the lab is to provide a stimulating environment in which everyone can realize their potential and grow as a scientist. 

Our lab is multi-disciplinary, providing a broad range of research areas and topics ranging from medicine to molecular biology and bioinformatics. Additionally, we have a diverse and collaborative team.

What to know:

The lab is large enough to provide a stimulating atmosphere and a large portfolio of established techniques, but small enough for strong mentorship. Postdocs attend a bi-weekly lab meeting as well as opportunities to attend multiple seminar series, with both internal and external speakers. 

Columbia University is a leading institution in biomedical research (#13 in North America and #52 globally in 2026 by Nature Index). This strong academic environment provides opportunities for collaborations, a wealth of educational opportunities, and cutting-edge core equipment and services available to you. 

Postdocs within this lab have been extremely successful, with a large number of high-impact publications. You will be expected to publish your own first-author paper, but will have opportunities to join other projects.

Qualifications:

Opportunities are open to those with MDs and PhDs

Minimum time for a postdoctoral fellowship is 2 years.

We currently require you to provide your own funding.
